Product care

All jewelry changes and develops a patina with heavy use, with microscopic scratches that dull the surface. Wear your jewelry often as your skin's natural oils help keep the silver beautiful and shiny. Other changes include the fact that silver can oxidize from air, moisture and chemicals.

Here are some tips for taking care of your silver jewelry:

Remove jewelry before showering or washing dishes.

Avoid contact with perfume, skin cream and other chemicals.

When your silver jewelry is not in use, it is best to store it in an airtight bag to prevent it from oxidizing.

Wash the jewelry occasionally with soap, preferably using a soft children's toothbrush to reach cavities. Dry thoroughly after washing.

Use a polishing cloth impregnated with polishing compound and polish your jewelry when needed. This is often enough to make the jewelry look like new.

Bronze and brass jewelry darkens over time. Polish them with regular copper/brass polish that can be purchased at grocery stores.

Natural jewelry with beans and seeds should not be exposed to water.
